What a success !

This year the IBA annual convention was a Webinar called “IBA 2020 – VIRTUALLY TOGETHER”.

As IBA International Franchising Committee Officer, I will be co-chairing of the traditional “Hot Topics in international commerce and distribution, trade, franchising, and product law” session.

I have presented and coordinated 6 moderators around 3 round tables of interactive discussions (via zoom) on the following topics:

• Benefits of #Mediation in dissolving franchise disputes.

• How franchisors deal with issues of data flows from EU to US since GDPR and brand new EU regulation. 

• Impacts of #covid-19 on franchising networks – tell your stories – how to adapt agreements and franchise documents.
