A brand new Law (March 29th 2018, item 7) just abrogated a former labor-oriented, anti-franchise law item n°64, called “El Khomeri” law, dated August 8th, 2016.

The last paper I co-authored in franchising and arbitration was : “ANATOMY OF A FRANCHISE DISPUTE: LESSONS FOR TRANSACTIONAL LAWYERS DRAFTING FRANCHISING AGREEMENTS”.
I’ll be speaking twice this year at the next joint convention of the IBA and IFA in Washington DC, on May 8th and 9th, 2018. This first will be co-hosting a roundtable on “#franchising in the Civil Law countries in #Europe”.
